Reading
The Second Epistle to the Corinthians 1:3-4
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed be the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort. Our Father comforts us amidst our every trouble. We can then give others, amidst any trouble, the same comfort we have received from God.

Intercessory Prayers of Petition
Lord's Prayer
Our Father, who is in heaven,
hallowed be Your Name.
Your kingdom come,
Your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins,
as we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil;
for the kingdom, the power,
and the glory are Yours without end.
Amen
Collect
Almighty God, You are the strength of all whose hope is in You. Hear our prayers, † for we are fragile and can do nothing without You. Let Your grace find us and be our help in all things. * Only then might our love fulfill Your two greatest commandments, as genuine responses to Your love for us through our Lord Jesus Christ. Your Son, who lives and reigns in unity with You and the Holy Spirit. God, now and forever. Amen.
Blessing
May the Lord bless us,
keep us from all evil,
and bring us to everlasting life.
Amen
